Grow your own guanábana tree from seed: the creamy tropical fruit that is so hard to find fresh.
Scientific name: Annona muricata.
- A tree you raise yourself and enjoy watching grow, season after season
- Glossy tropical leaves that look good from the first year
- Fruit possible after about 3–5 years in warm, bright conditions. It is a slow plant for patient gardeners, and we prefer to tell you honestly.
- Step-by-step growing guide included in every order
How to grow
- Soak the seeds in warm water for 24–48 hours.
- Sow 1–2 cm deep and keep warm, ideally 25–30°C. A warm spot is the step most people miss.
- Sprouts usually appear in 3–6 weeks. Be patient.
- Grow in a large pot in full sun and bring it indoors when nights fall below 10°C.
Shipping note: some countries only allow seeds in with an import permit. In Chile (SAG) and Argentina (SENASA), customs may hold seed parcels sent to private buyers. Please check your local rules before ordering.
